Description

Located on the highest point of Paris, overlooking the city itself, and next door to Sacre Coeur is a perfect little Paris furnished apartment overlooking the famous artist square at the Place du Tertre. Situated in a typical old Parisian building dating from the 1700s, the area lends itself to romantic walks, great restaurants, and great views of the city. Further down the hill, to the south is the rue des Abbesses where you can find small cafes and shops. The kitchen is fully equipped with a microwave, stove and refrigerator/freezer. The combination washer/dryer is in the kitchen beside the refrigerator. There is also a typical French coffee press plus a teapot and all of the little amenities you would normally want at home. There is an electronic coffee machine if you prefer that to the coffee press. The entrance to the bathroom has a curtain and not a door so please be aware of privacy if you are sharing the apartment with a friend. When entering this Paris furnished let, you are directly in the kitchen area with the shower room and toilet up a couple of steps to your left. A curtain separates this room from the kitchen. Directly across from the kitchen is the bedroom that is conveniently located on an inner courtyard, away from the bustling square. The bedroom with a full sized bed is an inviting area to stay in. From the bathroom and bedroom windows you get a slight peek at the tips of the dome of the Sacre Coeur, just an arms length away. To the right of the kitchen is the salon. The living room is bright and airy as the tall French windows open onto the square where you can watch the artists busily at work. There is also a wardrobe where you can store your personal belongings. In addition to the washing machine with built in dryer, there is a drying rack beside the wardrobe. You can sit listening to the bustle of the square, while being absorbed in a book or listen to music. There is a table in the salon that can serve as a place to serve your own French-prepared meal.
