Saint Ambroise

This apartment is centrally located in a lively area but on a quiet street and building. The neighbourhood is called Saint Ambroise and it's halfway between Canal Saint Martin and Oberkampf. The name is taken from the Saint Ambroise Church.

Upon entering the apartment, there is a long corridor and the first room off the corridor is the office with a printer should you need to work while staying in your Paris holiday apartment. The end of this corridor takes you to the main living area with an open concept. The toilet is in the room immediately to your left.

In addition to the dining table for four, there is also a bar with three stools. Although not shown in the photos, the little terrace has a small table and chairs for two people should you like to sit out and enjoy the rooftop views. The owner lives in this apartment most of the time with her cat and has many family treasures so please treat everything with care.

To the left of the television, there is a single bed in case you need a separate sleeping area and, just after that, there is the corridor that leads to the two bedrooms and the bathroom. The first and smaller room has a double-sized bed. The master bedroom also has a double bed, television, and DVD player. Only the living room television is equipped with cable. At the end of this corridor is the bathroom with a separate washing machine and clothes dryer, a towel warmer, and a shower. The bathroom was renovated in 2024.

Rue Amelot runs parallel to the line formed by the boulevards Beaumarchais, des Filles-du-Calvaire and du Temple. In addition to the metro Filles du Calvaire on line 8, you are also very close to metro Oberkampf on lines 5 and 9. Although there is a supermarket on your street, I am sure you will want to go to the Marché Couvert des Enfants Rouges, a very well-known, covered market that is only a six-minute walk away. Place des Vosges is about a 12-minute walk from the apartment and then the Seine is just a bit beyond that.

The area is filled with trendy shops and restaurants though so you may never want to leave! Alas, as it's the owner's primary residence, the longest you can stay is for two weeks. Please note, that the owner of this apartment is a cigarette smoker, in case you are sensitive.
