Live, as the French do, in this beautiful wooden-floored one-bed apartment, overlooking a quiet street. Recently refurbished, rue de Saussure
offers all modern conveniences, in the heart of a busy, much sought-after Parisian neighbourhood.
Ideally situated on the border of the 17th and 8th arrondissements, this apartment is located in a wonderful, residential area. This is 'Les
Batignolles', the poets' quarter (Verlaine, Mallarmé)- close to the business and shopping areas, but still lovely, peaceful and Parisian.
The Rue de Lévis Marché is the place to explore if you are a food lover. This narrow, pedestrian street houses a charcuterie specialising in
delicacies from Alsace, two huge produce stands, a poissonnerie, an artisanal boulangerie known for its crusty country bread, one of the best cheese
shops in the city, a place that sells fresh-ground coffee, a Nicolas wine store and a florist.
In addition, there is also the Marché Biologique des Batignolles by metro Rome that is open every Saturday morning from 9AM until 2PM. This is an
offshoot of the famous Boulevard Raspail Marché. You'll find organic produce and dairy goods, wine, prepared salads and pastries. If you are lucky,
you can even try some home-pressed organic cider and Calvados.
Parc Monceau is one of the most beautiful parks in Paris and was built in 1769. The park, which features carefully manicured gardens, pleasing
paths, small ponds and streams, and lots of pleasing sculptures, is very popular with families, affluent joggers and newly weds having their pictures
taken. The park was also the subject of a painting made famous by Claude Monet called, what else, 'Parc Monceau'.
Located a four minute walk from metro Villiers, our Parisian Living apartment is little more than a five minute ride to metro Charles de Gaulle Etoile,
where you will find the Champs-Elysées and Arc de Triomphe. If you take the metro in the opposite direction, or better yet, take a leisurely stroll,
you will be in Montmartre.
Shopping is also all around you. Not only does the rue de Lévis Marche have many boutiques but you are only a couple of metro stops away from
Galleries Lafayette and Le Printemps, large department stores with everything under one roof.
Apart from these wonderful conveniences, the apartment is six metro stops from Porte Maillot (where the buses come and go from Ryanair's Beauvais
Airport) and seven metro stops from Gare du Nord (where the Eurostar train and RER rail link to Charles de Gaulle is).
We have made arrangements with a chauffeur service to provide transportation from the airport to our apartments.

The flooring is the original parquet throughout apart from the bathroom- this room has original ceramic tiles, adding to the
charm of this Parisian classic.
When you walk into the apartment, the main living area and the bedroom are to your right with the bathroom, toilet and kitchen to your left.
The living room area has a dining table with four chairs that can double as a desk for those who would like to write about their adventures in the 'quartier' as well as
connection to the internet should you wish to bring your laptop computer with you.
There is modern sofa that converts to a double sized bed, comfortable enough to sleep two adults. There are shelves and a wall mounted television in this room.
The master bedroom has an original, antique marble fireplace to give you an extra cosy feeling.
The large window allows you to wake up to the warmth of the sun.
The bedding provided is quality linen directly from our professional cleaning service.
Heating in this apartment is electric.
There is an electric, wamm-mounted heater in the bedroom to make sure as well as one in the living room.
The bed features convenient drawers below the mattress to store your personal belongings.
You may also store things in the bedside tables, as each is equipped with shelves and drawers.
The bathroom is equipped with a modern shower and bathtub.
There is also a window in this room to allow for ventilation on those days where you feel like relaxing with a steamy shower
Closet space is often a rarity in Paris apartments. That is not the case in this one though.
There is a huge closet just when you come into the apartment.
It has plenty of hanging space and shelves- a perfect place to store all of your clothes, coats and luggage.
In addition to being fully equipped with all you need to make a fabulous gourmet dinner, the kitchen has a built in table with chairs plus a
beautiful, bright window behind it.
As with many Paris flats, the washing machine is located in the kitchen as well and we have a large drying rack that may be set up anywhere to dry your clothes.
This window looks onto the courtyard of the building so it is a very peaceful spot to enjoy your morning coffee and croissants.
With windows on both sides of the apartment, you are guaranteed a constant stream of light in the day.
As the owner of this apartment says, 'bring nothing except high expectations' as this apartment has
all of the amenities you would require.
