The Area

The apartment is in the trendy village atmosphere of Montmartre: just a few minutes walk to the Sacre Coeur with its spectacular views of Paris, where 'Amelie' was filmed.

It is close to museums, theaters, and the tiny vineyards of Montmartre (the only ones left in Paris). There are great French deli's, an outdoor market open six days a week, as well as charming restaurants and cafes.

Location

The accommodation, in a quiet cobble stoned street is a minute away from the metro station Lamarck-Caulaincourt (line 12), and has buses taking you to all points of interest in Paris - you can also hop on to the Montmartrobus which takes you around the best sites in Montmartre. See us on a map.

We have made arrangements with a chauffeur service to provide transportation from the airport to our apartments.

This apartment is discretely tucked away from the main street and located on the first (French floor: one above ground-level) floor.

It overlooks an open garden courtyard, and all rooms have tall French windows with hanging potted plants outside.

The well-balanced proportions of this 400 square foot (36M2) apartment with its open kitchen, see through arrangement from the entrance all the way to the end of apartment, ivory tones and lovingly renovated antique oak wood flooring, has a calm, spacious feeling which exude elegant charm.

The small, practical and fully-equipped kitchen has everything you need to cook and eat with, however enticing the many local restaurants the area are!

The kitchen opens out onto the living room and dining area.

The comfortable living room with modern furnishings is decorated with vibrant paintings and has all the audiovisual equipment you could wish for like a stereo CD player (and CD's), cable TV and DVD.

The extra long sofa (2 metres long and 90 cm wide) can also be used as a single bed.

In the corner is the dining area with table and chairs for four. It overlooks the silver birch in the courtyard.

The bedroom has a double bed with gorgeous designer sheets, a large cupboard, tasteful paintings, and French window.

The bathroom is modern with bath, shower (in bath), basin and toilet. Fluffy towels and French soap are provided.

A telephone for local calls is free (you will need to purchase a phone card to call overseas).

The apartment is NO SMOKING please.

Just out the door and less than a minute away, there is a taxi rank service. If you prefer you can telephone them to come and pick you up.

You will be met at the apartment by an English/French speaker who knows Paris and can help you with any questions you may have or bookings you may wish to make.

This apartment is literally across the street from the Cottage in Montmartre so all of the area shops are the same. We are sure you will enjoy the village-likecharm of the area as much as we do.
