The Area
Located on the Champs Elysees of Montmartre, in a typical 1910 Parisian building,
this classically furnished apartment provides the perfect setting for your visit to Paris.
Moments out the front door of the apartment are wonderful markets including numerous bakeries,
butchers, fruit and vegetable sellers. The apartment is close to shops, theatres, charming
restaurants and the tiny vineyards of Montmartre (the only ones left in Paris). Just up the road,
you can visit Villa Leandre- home to the most expensive houses in the area.
You are just a few minutes from the famous Place du Tertre and the Sacre Coeur church from where you have a fantastic view all over Paris.
There is also a very nice, calm park/playground on avenue Junot that might come in handy for children.
Location
Line 12 of the metro brings you directly to Pigalle and the Moulin Rouge,
Concorde and its fantastic gardens, St-Germain-des-Pres and its writers,
Montparnasse and its artists. See us on a map.
The apartment is a minute away from the metro station Lamarck-Caulaincourt and
has buses taking you to all points of interest in Paris. We suggest, however, to take
your time to walk through streets immortalized by the paintings of Toulouse-Lautrec and
Utrillo and the photographs of Robert Doisneau. For awhile, Edith Piaf used to live on this street
when the Hotel Alsina used to exist.
We have made arrangements with a chauffeur service to provide transportation from the airport to our apartments.
On the left side of the page, close to the bottom, choose 'Car
Transfer'.

When you arrive at 12 avenue Junot, you enter an art deco building from 1930's then continue through the bright courtyard.
The building in the courtyard is the original 12 avenue Junot which was built in the 1910's when avenue Junot used to be a dirt road.
We are sure you will find the apartment both calm and serene which may be just what you need after a hectic day exploring Paris.
A French painter used to live in this apartment for many years. We have kept his easel and some of his works as decoration in the salon.
The flat has been completely renovated and decorated with a combination of old and new.
The mirror that has been in the apartment is an antique which dates back to 1912.
Simplicity and clarity with colours are the themes we have used to decorate the apartment.
Soft colors and linen curtains create an almost 'country-like' charm.
Sunlight streams into the apartment from two different directions giving it the advantage of being bright and inviting.
In the living room, there is a comfortable chesterfield sofa as well as a sofa that can convert to a bed to sleep an additional two people if needed.
The double sized living room has a dining area with a table that can comfortably accommodate up to six adults.
The antique cupboard in the living room has an LCD television and a telephone (free calls to landlines in Europe and North America can be made from this phone).
We have placed the cable box, CD, DVD player and router for the internet inside the cupboard.
The bedroom is large and airy, by Parisian standards and measures 15 sq m. It still has the original waxed and polished wooden floors.
A double sized bed with Percale linen and plenty of pillows will assure you a calm and comfortable night's sleep.
The open, 'American-style' kitchen provides everything required for a gourmet cook.
All items needed to prepare a lovely dinner at home from items bought at one of the neighbourhood markets are provided. This includes dishes, professional pots, pans and cooking utensils.
For your convenience, we also have a dishwasher.
The modern bathroom and the shower have old, Italian cream coloured marble tiles and a marble sink.
