The Area
This is the heart of Montmartre! The area used to be an independent village called 'Village d'Orsel' and kept this name until 1838,
at which, it was incorporated into Montmartre. You can still see and sense the Bohemian life of the neighbourhood. There is the Theatre d'Atelier
directly across the street in Place Charles Dullin- the lovely park that you see from the windows in the salon.
The entrance to the apartment is conveniently placed between two cafés to add to the charm. You'll find an abundance of restaurants within
a stone's throw. Some highly reputed ones are just around the corner on rue des Trois Freres. There are also funky boutiques everywhere you look.
If you love design and fabric, you are right at the marche St. Pierre- the best fabric district in Paris.
Location
Line 12 of the metro brings you directly to Pigalle and the Moulin Rouge, Concorde and its fantastic gardens, St-Germain-des-Pres
and its writers, Montparnasse and its artists. See us on a map.
Metro Abbesses is truly in the heart of old Montmartre. It is a place to explore with your feet-
walking from one charming road to the next. If you aren't up to doing it on your own, there are organised
tours that leave biweekly from the Abbesses station. You could also take the Montmartrobus to see the neighbourhood.

This apartment was completely renovated and redesigned for both comfort and convenience with special attention to open space.
When you arrive at this apartment, you walk into a small foyer with a combined bathroom with WC immediately to
your right.
Artistic details are noticeable in every room- even this one as you have 'la chambre de philosophe' behind the WC.
The bathroom has both a full bathtub as well as a powerful shower and enough sensuous bath supplies to help you unwind after a day of exploring.
The foyer takes to a very large, open kitchen with a dining table large enough to seat 5 and with enough artwork on the wall to keep you
interested while someone prepares a delicious meal for you.
The kitchen is equipped with a gas hob, a stove, mini-fridge and other amenities.
There are several cookbooks if you are low on inspiration because, as it says in the kitchen, 'Art isn't easy!'
You may, however, get great inspiration with a walk through the markets of rue des Martyrs and rue des Abbesses.
The kitchen takes you to a hallway with tea lights along the floor and beautiful black and white prints along the way.
The bedroom, with a four poster, queen sized bed, is off of this hallway. There is an armoire to store your belongings as well
as a rack to hang your clothes.
Like every room in this flat, there is a window to offer a ray of light for you to wake up with in the morning. All windows are
made with soundproof, double paned glass.
You'll find hints of different cultures throughout this apartment, including a colourful kimono adorning one side of
the armoire in the bedroom.
The hallway ends in the living room which has a restored facade of a fireplace, lovely oriental cabinet and a sofa so comfortable that
you'll want to test it the moment you look at it.
You can see a photo of the fireplace at the top of this page.
There are two windows in this room and they both overlook Place Charles Dullin. You can choose to watch the bustling activity or go
out and be a part of it.
This apartment is perfectly enchanting for a vacation, holiday weekend or a business trip. I'm sure, after one trip, you'll want to make it your home in Paris!
