The Area
This one bedroom flat is located just around the corner from 'Café des Deux Moulins', made famous in the 'The Fabulous Life of Amélie Poulain'
or 'Amelie of Montmartre' film. Rue Lepic is a very well known market street. Although you may think that means the street is busy, rue Cauchois, a
small one way street, could not be more peaceful or quiet. The area is such a wonderful mix of 'bohemian' and 'bourgeois' that you will want to
spend your entire vacation within minutes of the apartment.
You can read a bit more about the area through this link if you can understand some French: www.lepic-abbesses.com
Location
The location is in the same area as our Rooftop Vista and Design at d'Orsel apartments. It is a 'quartier' overflowing with restaurants, boutiques,
food stores and more. See us on a map.
You have convenient access to two metro lines: Line 12 at Abbesses and Line 2 at Blanche. Place Blanche also has a number of different buses
should you wish to see more while travelling throughout the city.
We have made arrangements with a chauffeur service to provide transportation from the airport to our apartments.
On the left side of the page, close to the bottom, choose 'Car

The owners of the apartment are anglophiles and have tried to keep the needs of their guests in mind.
Andrea, the wife, volunteers her time to teach English to French school children. Her husband, Andre, is an artist and will soon be decorating
their apartment with some copies of his wonderful work.
When you walk into the apartment, you arrive directly in the salon.
Immediately to your right is the bathroom with full sized shower, sink and WC. It has been completely renovated and provides a fresh, clean ambience.
The living area has a large sized sofa that can accommodate an extra person if necessary.
It does not open to a sofa bed but the back cushions can be removed to provide a larger sleeping area.
A television with cable (including some English stations) has been placed directly across from the sofa.
Close to the window in this room is a table with chairs that opens twice as large in size as shown in the photo at the top of this page.
The kitchen was design with an open concept or 'cuisine americaine', as the French call it, which makes it very spacious to cook in.
There is a large sized refrigerator with freezer, plenty of counter space plus all modern amenities including a dishwasher.
A very unique feature of this apartment is a small, communal terrace just outside the living area.
You can use the folding chairs from the apartment and, in the summer, it is lovely to sit out and enjoy the sunshine. As this area is open,
we ask that you be considerate to your neighbours and not talk too loudly should you decide to sit on the terrace as your voice would echo.
The bedroom is furnished with a comfortable, double sized bed along with a chest of drawers.
In addition to this, opposite the light-filled window there is closet space that stretches the entire length of the wall.
There are built in book shelves on the far right side of the closet which are stocked with novels and guide books for Paris.
As this apartment is located on the ground floor, it is perfect for those that do not wish to climb stairs and prefer a space that is easy to
get around in.
Security is not an issue as all windows are equipped with shutters on the outside which you can lock from within the apartment should you decide
to go out and explore all this wonderful area can offer.
