The Area
Welcome to the Abbesses district of Montmartre, renowned for its trendy bars and cafes that tumble out onto the pavements.
You will immediately feel the intimacy of the area as you walk along the ancient cobbled streets, passing the stylish boutiques and food establishments offering cuisine
from different parts of the globe as well as France.
If you prefer, the breads, pastries and cheeses will keep you satisfied as you stroll around. For those who wish to eat a complete meal, 'traiteurs' offer cooked
dinners to heat up at home.
Perched above Abbesses is the Basilica de Sacre-Coeur which is accessed by charming stone staircases. The climb is rewarded by spectacular views of Paris, the City of
Light, aptly named as you will see when taking an evening walk.
The relaxed village feel of Montmartre offers something for everyone. As you mingle with the musicians and artists, you will quickly feel part of this vibrant quarter
of Paris that is Montmartre.
Location
Rue Durantin, home to several art galleries and design studios, is a quiet cobbled street with intimate bistros and cozy bars where you can chill out away from the
tourist throng of Place de Tertre and Sacre-Coeur.
Metro Abbesses serves the area and is just a couple of minutes' walk from the apartment enabling you to access easily other areas of Paris.
We have made arrangements with a chauffeur service to provide transportation from the airport to our apartments.

Bedroom 1: Queen Bed
Our smart, recently renovated second floor apartment has a separate bedroom plus combined living room/dining area.
The warm, neutral colours of the walls provide a perfect contrast to the burnt orange touches added throughout the living area.
It adds the perfect amour or love appeal in an intimate space.
All of the rooms are off of a central entryway which comes into the open salon and kitchen area.
This makes it perfect should you have a third person sleeping on the sofa bed as no one must cross each other's sleeping area to access the bathroom.
Off to the hall, you have access to the bedroom which offers a queen sized bed.
The double glazed windows in this room and others overlook the street below.
There is a large wardrobe with storage space above and a separate shaker style wooden hanging coat hook for your convenience.
Entering the hallway, the toilet and shower room is directly to the left of the front door (to the right if you are coming out of the bedroom).
Above the sink is a long, mirrored bathroom cabinet to store your toiletries.
Opposite the sink is a heated towel rail for your comfort on a chilly winter's day.
The modern interior offers a calm, cool living space which you will enjoy returning to each day.
You can relax or 'people watch' from the open windows as you listen to the sounds of live musicians performing in and around the Place des Abbesses area.
The American style kitchen just off the living room area is well equipped with generous amounts of base and wall cupboards.
There is also Corian worktops, deep stainless steel sink with mixer tap.
For your convenience, there is a combination machine for both washing and drying your clothes as well as a dishwasher.
The refridgerator with separate freezer compartment is unusually large my most French standards.
The kitchen space also features a useful bar surface.
You can enjoy a glass of wine while watching someone prepare your meal from the fresh produce found everywhere alon the rue des Abbesses and rue Lepic area.
Just off of the kitchen, in the living area, is a dining table perfect for two people to have a romantic dinner tete a tete.
There is both a 2 and 3 seater sofa in the living area and the small one can convert to a bed for one, if needed.
The storage cabinet in the living area has a television with cable for the nights when you may want to stay in and relax.
There is also a permanent internet connection should you be travelling with a computer or mobile device and need to stay in touch while away.
Abbesses Amour offers you a quiet and intimate sanctuary just 2 minutes from the hub which is Place des Abbesses.
This allows you to dip in and out of the bustling vibe of Abbesses as you wish.
Our well equipped flat welcomes you home after your activities out and about in Montmartre or further afield in Paris.
